Suggested Use:

Research has shown 1 scoop of SF-187 taken 20 – 30 minutes prior to activity (in 8 ox water) increases focus, energy, endurance, strength and explosive power. Beginners should start with 1 scoop per serving to assess tolerance. Advanced atheletes who have experience with pre-workout stimulants can take 1 – 3 scoops per serving. DO NOT exceed 4 scoops in a 24 hour period.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Class: Stimulant
Synonyms: 1,3,7-trimethyl-1-H-purine-2,6(3H,7H)-dione, 3,7-Dihydro-1,3,7-trimethyl-1H-purine-2,6-dione, methylxanthine, teaine (erroneous), mateine (erroneous).
What: on the most common stimulants and psychoactive compounds in the world. We need to know that caffeine has many secondary effects on the body, as well.
How: Caffeine redirects bloodflow in the brain toward the prefrontal cortex, which is the area responsible for attention, and strategizing. Caffeine also indirectly increases epinephrine (adrenaline), and dopamine. Increasing these chemicals in the brain increases alertness, and the burning of fat by converting fat into free form fatty acids in order to contribute to fat burning.
Additional notes: high doses of caffeine prior to workout increase the testosterone to cortisol ratio.

 

Coco Bean Extract

Class: Stimulant.
What: Theobromine is often used as a vasodilator, and a diuretic, as well as a stimulant.
How: Theobromine has similar action in the body to caffeine, in that it binds to the adenosine receptors, as an antagonist (or agent exerting the opposite effect of the chemical the receptor is typically meant for). Theobromine exerts a milder effect on the nervous system than caffeine, but still does increase the release of dopamine and norepinephrine.

 

Green Tea Extract

Class: Antioxidant, Hearth Health, Fat loss. 
What: an extract made from green tea, standardized for polyphenols and EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). This extract is used to burn fat and reduce inflammation.
How: Green tea extract contains potent antioxidants in the form of catechins, most notably EGCG. Notably, green tea extract increases insulin sensitivity, improves body composition and reduces fat. This is likely facilitated by green tea extract’s ability to slow the breakdown of norepinephrine by acting on CoMT (catechol-O-methyl transferase, an enzyme responsible for the breakdown on the stimulatory neurotransmitter known as norepinephrine). Beta Phenylethylamine (PEA) Class: Stimulant
What: Beta Phenylethylamine (PEA) acts as a stimulant in the body, and can improve fat loss. How: PEA enters the blood-brain barrier and then exerts effects on the central nervous system (CNS). PEA stimulates the release of beta-endorphin, as well as nor epinephrine and dopamine. PEA also blocks the breakdown of dopamine, which further increases the dopamine levels. Through these means PEA improves focus, concentration, reduces appetite and speeds up the metabolism.

 

Cupuacu

Class: Stimulant
What: Cupuacu is a tree related to the cacao.
How: Cupuacu contains caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, which all contribute to stimulation and locomotion. Cupuacu also contains catechins and quercetin, which have many other biological processes such as the reduction of inflammation, and antioxidant effects.

 

Quercetin

Class: Bioflavonoid Synonyms: Sophoretin, Meletin, Quercetine, Xanthaurine, Quercetol, Quercitin, Quertine, Flavin Meletin.
What: A bioflavonoid which increases cardiovascular health, exercise performance, and helps to maintain testosterone with exposure to dioxin.
How: Quercetin is an inhibitor of CoMT. This inhibition increases energy, cardiovascular, and VO2 Max. Quercetin also has been shown to reduce neural inflammation. Quercetin has been shown to protect the testicles from exposure to dioxin.

 

Catechins

Class: Antioxidant, Fat Burner.
What: Catechins are a type of natural phenol and antioxidant. One of the catechins, (-)-epicatechin inhibits myostatin, and also increase nitric oxide. All of the catechins do exert antioxidant and fat loss effects on the body.
How: Catechins are found as active constituents of cupacu, tea, and cocoa.

 

Niacin

Class: Vitamin What: Niacin is a necessary B-vitamin responsible for energy, metabolism, and health.
How: Niacin is a precursor to two different enzymes of niacin NAD (nicotinamide) and NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate). Both of these greatly facilitate deriving energy from glucose, fat and alcohol.

 

Theacrine

Class: Energy, Brain Support, Stress Support, Anti-Inflammatory
What: a stimulant with anti-inflammatory properties.
How: Theacrine is found in highest concentration, naturally in camellia sinensis var assamica (kucha tea), and cupuacu. In the doses naturally found in kucha tea, theacrine has a sedative effect (much as caffeine would at incredibly low doses), but as the dose is increased the stimulant effect of the theacrine starts to shine. Research supports that theacrine blocks the adenosine receptor, and reduces reuptake of dopamine. This mode of action is very similar to caffeine, which would make sense given the chemical structure is almost the same as caffeine. With theacrine use, markers of inflammation decreased, while markers of antioxidant enzymes increased. Additional notes: Theacrine may interact with sedatives, especially when taken 30 minutes prior to sleep. Tolerance was not built up during a week of use in the research.

 

Epicatechin

Class: Myostatin inhibitor, and Vasodilator
What: A myostatin inhibitor, extracted from dark chocolate.
How: Epicatechin reduces myostatin by increasing follistatin levels. For some background one should know that myostatin is a protein that acts as a limiting factor in muscle growth. Follistatin signals the body to produce less myostatin. Decreases in myostatin then lead to great improvements in body composition and muscle mass. Not only that, but epicatechin improves pumps through exerting effects on the nitric oxide system.

 

Alpha GPC

Class: Nootropic Synonyms: Alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine
What: A potent nootropic (smart supplement), promoter of growth hormone secretion, which produces more intense muscle contraction, and increase strength.
How: Alpha GPC provides the body with a highly bioavailable form of choline. Alpha GPC increases the output of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine has roles in memory formation, focus, and muscle contractions. Through the increase of acetylcholine, Alpha GPC increases growth hormone secretion, and the strength of muscle contractions. This means that Alpha GPC can facilitate gains in strength and improvements in body composition.

What: vitamins responsible for energy, acting as precursors to important chemicals in the body.
How: Stored in the body as pyridoxal 5’-phosphate (PLP). B-5 is involved in the metabolism of amino acids and lipids (fats), hemoglobin and in the synthesis of neurotransmitters (specifically nor-epinephrine, epinephrine and dopamine). B-5 also is necessary to gluconeogenesis.

 

Methyl Synephrine

Class: Stimulant
What: Bitter orange extract is a stimulant with effects on fat loss.
How: Bitter orange extract is a beta (like ephedrine) and alpha adrenergic receptor agonists (like yohimbine). Through these mechanisms bitter orange extract functions to increase conversion of stored body fat into free fatty acids, which are then utilized as energy. Also, through these actions on the adrenergic receptors bitter orange extract contributes to suppression of appetite.

 

N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine

Class: Amino Acid, Energy Support, Adrenal Support
What: A more bioavailable form of l-tyrosine. L-tyrosine is non-essential amino acid which is useful for athletes, energy, and those desiring and increased sensitivity to caffeine.
How: The acetyl group is removed during digestion to yield l-tyrosine (and an acetyl group). L-tyrosine is a precursor to L-Dopa, which is a precursor to dopamine, epinephrine (adrenaline, and nor-epinephrine (nor-adrenaline). This will give the other stimulants present in g33k3d caps more raw material in order to prepare you for the gym. Also, l-tyrosine may increase thyroid hormone output by giving enough raw material to synthesize thyroid hormone.

 

Hordenine

Class: Stimulant
What: Hordenine is a stimulant that has an adrenergic effect.
How: Hordenine is a protoalkaloid related to tyramine. Hordenine exerts an adrenergic effect on the body, in that it augments responses that would be influenced by adrenaline. Hordenine may act to increase nor-epinephrine in the system through nor-epinephrine reuptake inhibition.

 

Higenamine

Class: Stimulant
What: Higenamine is a stimulant that has an adrenergic effect.
How: Higenamine acts as an agonist on beta-2 adrenergic receptor. This means that higenamine will contribute to fat mobilization, burning, and energy; as well as enhanced vasodilation. Higenamine also acts to increase the cellular messenger, cAMP.

 

Halostachine

Synonym: N-Methyl Phenylethanolamine
Class: Stimulant, Fat Burner
What: Halostachine is a sympathomimetic agent, with partial adrenergic binding.
How: Halostachine, due to the effects on the adrenal system, increases core temperature, mobilizes fat, and increases energy. It is a quick onset energy.

 

Octopamine

Class: Stimulant, Fat Burner
What: A stimulant that mobilizes fat.
How: Octopamine acts on the nor-epinephrine, adrenergic and dopaminergic systems. In fact, octopamine likely acts as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, which means that more nor-epinephrine and dopamine are available for energy. This increase in adrenaline, nor-epinephrine and dopamine facilitates the mobilization and burning of fat.

 

Piperine

Class: Stimulant, Fat Burner
What: Piperine is extracted from black pepper, and makes supplements and medicines more bioavailable in the body.
How: Piperine inhibits certain enzymes in the liver, which are responsible for metabolizing or breaking down supplements and medicines. Piperine acts through intestinal absorption (by slowing intestinal transit), as well as the inhibition and downregulation of Phase II detoxification enzymes in the liver. The result is that piperine very significantly increases the bioavailability of many supplements.

 

Hoodia Gordonii

Class: Stimulant, Fat Burner
What: Hoodia acts as an appetite suppressant.
How: Hoodia increases ATP in the brain, which is generally associated with reductions in appetite.

 

Yohimbine

Class: Stimulant
What: Yohimbine acts as a stimulant, with fat burning and aphrodisiac properties.
How: Yohimbine acts on adrenal receptors (alpha 2A). These are also found in the genitals and regions with stubborn fat stores. This means that yohimbine could be quite helpful with stubborn body fat stores.
Additional Notes: women have reported this being particularly helpful in reduction of leg fat. Men have reported this being helpful in erectile issues, especially when coupled with AAKG and/or horny goat weed (standardized for icariin).

 

AMP Citrate

Class: Stimulant
What: AMP Citrate is a potent stimulant which has applications to focus, and training.
How: AMP Citrate increases nor-epinephrine, epinephrine and dopamine release. AMP Citrate behaves very similarly to DMAA, but with less of a crash. AMP Citrate is extracted from Pouchong (a type of oolong tea), and was developed as a substitute for DMAA.
